When prescribing ERTACZO®, use these instructions to help patients
achieve results:- Apply ERTACZO® as prescribed
- Use ERTACZO® for the entire time prescribed, even if symptoms
improve sooner - Always wash and dry affected skin between the toes before
applying ERTACZO® - Use ERTACZO® externally only (not inside the body), and avoid getting
it in the eyes, nose, mouth, and other open body areas - Wash hands after applying ERTACZO®
- Unless indicated otherwise, do not cover affected skin with tight
bandages or other dressings - Be aware of any increased irritation, redness, itching, burning,
blistering, swelling, or oozing in places where ERTACZO® is applied - Notify the physician’s office if conditions get worse or improvement

Help patients prevent recurrence of interdigital tinea pedis. Discuss the
following guidelines:- Wash feet every day with soap and water and dry them well, especially
between the toes (remember, fungi love warm, damp places)2 - Don’t walk barefoot in public areas — wear flip-flops, sandals, or water
shoes instead2 - When at home, take off shoes to let feet air out3
- Avoid wearing tight, closed shoes (especially vinyl or rubber ones) that
make your feet hot and sweaty — particularly during the summer3,4 - Wear socks made from breathable materials, like cotton, rather than
materials that absorb and hold sweat, like polyester4 - Never borrow or share shoes3
- Wear different shoes throughout the week to let shoes dry out3
- Dust feet and shoes with antifungal powder2
